its Surgical Skills facility available for anatomic
classes.
Colleges and healthcare organizations provide a unique, hands-on experience to students in anatomy and physiology classes, nurses, EMTs, chiropractors, physical therapists and other occupations requiring knowledge of human anatomy. Far better than any textbook, anatomic classes at AGR use tissue that retains the properties of living tissue in a way that formalin-fixed specimens do not. Specimens can be requested that match the goals of the courses offered. AGR can provide both pathologic and normal tissues for study and examination. AGR's facilities are designed for education, with multimedia and videoconference capabilities including camera configurations that are designed to broadcast from the laboratory to the classroom setting. Students can always choose to participate at the level they are comfortable with.
